Homelab Infrastructure & Automation

Architected and maintain a comprehensive homelab infrastructure running on Proxmox with Docker orchestration. Includes media management (Jellyfin), automated content acquisition (*arr stack), torrent management (qBittorrent), NAS integration (Asustor), CI/CD pipelines, and custom maintenance tools. Demonstrates enterprise-level DevOps practices, automation, self-hosting, and infrastructure-as-code principles on personal hardware—achieving professional-grade services at zero recurring cloud costs.

2024 to Present
Lead developer and maintainer for Farudhun.com, a major Dhivehi-language news and media platform serving daily readership across the Maldives. Responsible for full-stack development, infrastructure optimization, and ongoing feature delivery. Recently achieved an 80% cost reduction (from $100 to $20/month) through strategic optimization of hosting, caching, and media delivery—without compromising performance or availability.

Built and published an open-source Node.js CLI tool that intelligently cleans node_modules, lock files, and build artifacts across monorepos and workspaces. The package solves disk space issues for developers managing multiple projects, with workspace detection, glob patterns, dry-run mode, and auto-reinstall. Published on npm with MIT license and achieving 34+ monthly downloads.

Allied Workflow Platform

Allied needed a dynamic, configurable workflow system that could integrate cleanly with existing portals and operational systems. I am leading development of that platform as a Senior Developer using NestJS, React, DaisyUI, and a microservice architecture to support scalable process automation.

2025
Corporate rebrand ahead of SME Digital: I did the bulk of the build (~90%)—custom site on Next.js with Strapi CMS (and HeroUI) so marketing could own content. Launched before I left; I ran Strapi training, wrote documentation, and handed off to the team.

Developed a reservation system for Sun Siyam Resorts to enable staff and resellers to automatically check availability, manage bookings, and update pricing across their resort properties. Integrated with Opera PMS and Meili search for seamless operations.
